Mike Dada Loses Wife: On Saturday, October 19th Mike Dada, the President of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), lost his wife, Modupe Temitope Dada.
Modupe, 48, died at Dutchess International Hospital in Lagos after a short illness, according to celebrity critics.

Announcing her death on his Instagram page, Dada wrote, “It is with immeasurable grief that the Dada family confirms the passing of our wife and sister, Modupe Temitope Dada, aka Dupsy, Mama Africa, at Dutchess International Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos, on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
“A real and devoted mother and wife, definitely. She gave to us the love and compassion we so much enjoy after spending her life in the finance and entertainment sectors.
“The family requests for prayers and support of kind-hearted people during this trying period and submits to the decision of the Almighty God.
She always gave Africa and her family first priority. Her death creates a hole that will not be easy to cover.
“The Dada family certifies the death of our wife and sister, Modupe Temitope Dada, alias Dupsy, Mama Africa, at Dutchess International Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos, on Saturday, October 19, 2024 with unbounded sadness.

Who is Mike Dada mourns?
Born in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, on May 5, 1976, Modupe Dada, then Baruwa, Reflecting on his late wife’s dedication to family values, community service, inclusion, and her great love for God and Africa, Mr. Dada—also the Managing Director of PRM Africa Marketing and Communications—released a statement Monday.
“It is with immeasurable grief that we, the Dada family, confirm the death of our wife and sister, Modupe Temitope Dada, also known as Dupsy, Mama Africa,” Mr. Dada said. She was a dedicated and caring mother and wife. She offered love and compassion we have learned to value during her lifetime working in the banking and entertainment sectors.
The family has yielded to the will of Almighty God and asked kind-hearted people prayers and support during this trying period. “Her death leaves a hole impossible to fill,” he said.
Burial plans call for a Service of Songs on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Grace Assembly, Yard 158, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun-Ikeja, Lagos State, scheduled at 5:00 PM (WAT). Following a private burial, Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM (WAT), will be a goodbye ceremony at the same site.

Married, with two children, siblings, and many relatives, Modupe Dada was also Vice-President of AFRIMA and a brilliant bank executive.

Cause of Mike Dada’s Wife

Plans for her funeral have already been made public by her family. On Wednesday, October 23, a singing service will be in Lagos State’s Grace Assembly. Following a funeral ceremony at Grace Assembly on Thursday, October 24, she will be laid to rest. Her spouse and kids are her only survivors.
